FLORENCE VANHOOSE
1904-1987
Mrs. Florence VanHoose, 82, died February 16 at her home in Fairborn, OH.
Mrs. VanHoose was born October 8, 1904 in Johnson County, the daughter of
Garfield and Bertha Burchett Stambaugh.
She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband, Claude VanHoose
preceded her in death in 1978.
Surviving are one son, Wilbur D. VanHoose of New Carlisle, OH, one daughter
Charlene Minton, of Fairborn; one sister, Mrs. Lassie Estep of Whitesburg;
and four grandsons and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21 in Paintsville Funeral
Home Chapel with Revs. James K. Caudill and Lonnie Bocook officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville,
Paintsville Herald,
