LEROY VANHOOSE

Leroy Vanhoose, 73, of Paintsville, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2005 at
his residence.
Born July 22, 1932, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Joe
and Flossie Wilcox Vanhoose. He was a self-employed plumber.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Vanhoose, in
1992.
Survivors include his second wife, Emma Lee Vanhoose of
Paintsville; two sons, Gordon Vanhoose of Tutor Key and Randy
Vanhoose of Paintsville; two stepsons, Joel Vanhoose and Brent
Vanhoose, both of Paintsville; two daughters, Terry Vanhoose
Stambaugh and Glenna Vanhoose Owens, both of Paintsville; two
brothers, Willard "Red" Vanhoose and Joe Vanhoose Jr., both of
Paintsville; three sisters, Judy James of Columbus, Ohio, Lucille
Gullett of Salem, Ohio, and Roberta Stanley of Paintsville; and
eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 11, at Rockhouse Free Will
Baptist Church with Richard Williams and Roger Hill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
