Lillian Burchett VanHoose, 78, of Wittensville, died Wednesday, April
23, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born April 25, 1924, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Jesse and Alka VanHoose Burchett.
She was a business entrepreneur.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie B. VanHoose; and a
daughter, Julia Alzda VanHoose.
Survivors include a daughter, Sonja Ganell Music of Wittensville; and
a grandchild.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 26, at Tom’s Creek Free Will
Baptist Church, Nippa, with Revs. James Kelly Caudill, Dick VanHoose,
and Larry Smith officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones- Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
