VanHoose, 73, of Oil Springs, died Wednesday, April 6, at
King's Daughters Medical Center,
Ashland.
Born June 11, 1931, in
Paintsville, he was a son of the late Archie
and Jessie Ratliff VanHoose.
He was a machinist and a U.S. Air
Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Janet
VanHoose of Oil Springs; a
daughter, Charlene Rae Madonia of
Lockport, Ill.; a son, David L.
VanHoose of Enon, Ohio; two
sisters, Zondra Baker of Staffordsville,
and Barbara Jean Castle of Enon;
and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday,
April 9, at Staffordsville Freewill
Baptist Church with Revs. Wendell
Ison and Doug Crider officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial
Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home.
