LUCY VANHOOSE
1908-1996
Lucy VanHoose, 88, of Paintsville, died Saturday, December 7, 1996,
at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton, Ohio.
She was born August 26, 1908, the daughter of the late Garfield and
Lucina Alters Stambaugh.
She is also preceded in death by her husband Tom VanHoose two sons
and one daughter, two brothers, two sisters, one great-grandchild.
She is survived by three sons, Paris VanHoose; of McGuffey, Ohio,
Doug VanHoose and Ruel VanHoose, of Kenton, Ohio; two brothers:
Lowell Stambaugh, Paintsville Rule Daniels, Oregon, eight
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday, December 10, 1996 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jones
Preston Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville
