ROBERTA VANHOOSE

Roberta VanHoose, 93, of Tutor Key, died Sunday, Feb. 24.
Born July 5, 1919, at River, she was the daughter of the late Luther and
Savillar Preston Daniel. She was a member of the Baker Branch Freewill
Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hollie VanHoose.
Survivors include seven sons, Hershell VanHoose, Luther VanHoose and Roger
VanHoose, all of Tutor Key, Harold VanHoose of Tampa, Fla., James VanHoose
of Delaware, Ohio, Hollie Jay VanHoose of Dayton, Ohio, and Venny VanHoose
of Louisa; five daughters, Ruby Daniels of River, Jean Picklesimer of
Dayton, Geneva Caudill of Stambaugh, Lillian Hayes of Lowmansville and
Sharon Woods of Denver; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and five
great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 28, at Southside Freewill Baptist
Church, with James Kelly Caudill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under direction of
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
