Maley Walker, 62, died Wednesday, May 12,  in the Paintsville Hospital. He
was the son of A. M. and Martha Moore Walker and  was born April 21, 1914 in
Temple, TX.
 
He was a resident of Paintsville and was employed as an oilfield foreman for
Midwest Drilling.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.
 
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Jane Bryan Walker, 2 sons, Wendell C. of
Kermit, TX, and Marvin of Lexington; 4 daughters, Loreta Montgomery of Elk
Grove Village, Ill, Louise Kennard of Franklin, OH, Edith Williams of Ft.
Lauderdale, Fl, and Theresa Snodgrass of Lexington; 4 brothers, Bob of
Hillsboro, TX, James off Ft. Wroth, TX, Arthur of Waxahachie, TX, and Ed of
Cleburne, TX;; 3 sisters, Betty Lou Bryan of Cleburne, Vivian Adkins and
Bertha Mills both of Waxahachie.
 
Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, in the Jones- Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Woodrow Church officiating.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones- Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
