Philip Webb, 68, of Paintsville, died Monday, Aug. 12, at King’s
Daughters Medical Center, Ashland.

Born Aug. 29, 1944, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late
Herman D. and Eunice Arms Webb. He worked for Commonwealth Insurance
Company. He was in the Reserves—D.D. 214.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lowell Webb and Samuel
Buddy Webb; and a son, John Philip Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Williamson Webb; two brothers, Herman
Webb and Milo Webb, both of North Carolina; and a grandchild.

Funeral services were Thursday, Aug. 5, at Tom’s Creek Freewill Baptist
Church, Nippa, with James Kelly Caudill and David Blackburn
officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
