HOBERT FOREST WELCH
1918-2001
Hobert Forest Welch, 83, of Hager Hill, died Friday Aug.31 2001 at
his home.
Mr. Welch was born March 1, 1918, in Johnson County, a son of the
late John Hobert and Nona Conley Welch. He was a store clerk.
His wife, Sarah Mae Stapleton Welch, died in 1976.
Surviving are two sons, James Hobert Welch of Springfield, Ohio, and
Robert Allen Welch of Eaton, Ohio; two daughters, Sherry W. McCauley
of Dayton, Ohio, and Janet Sue Hoskins of Springborough, Ohio; a
brother, Frank Welch of Midland, Ohio; a sister, Loretta Reynolds of
Oregon; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
in Paintsville by Toby Johnson and Dick Vanhoose.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 tonight at the funeral home.
