Bobby A. Wells, 75, of Van Lear, died Saturday, April 14, at Paul B. Hall
Medical Center.
Born April 15, 1936, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Tommy and
Thelma Hyden Wells. He worked for a publishing company.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Wells.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda VanHoose Wells; a son, Benjamin T. Wells
of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Monie Baldwin of Paintsville and Verronda K.
Castle of Van Lear; four sisters, Anna Ruth Bowling of Hager Hill, Wanda
Faye Stanford of Ohio, Doris Sue Robinson of Summerville, Ohio, and Glenda
Hill of London; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 17, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
with B. Joe Hill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones- Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
