HATTIE WELLS

Hattie Wells, 90, of Van Lear, died Monday, February 9, 1998, at the
J.J. Jordan Nursing Home.
She was born January 3, 1908, in Martin County, the daughter of
Marion Jackson Wells and Alice Burke.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by, her parents.
She is survived by one daughter, Billie Jo Wells Soard of Van Lear;
one brother, Kermit Wells of Meally; two sisters, Imogene Sammans and
Garnetta Rucker, both of Van Lear; and three grandchildren.
Services were February 11, at the Highland Memorial Funeral Chapel in
Staffordsville.
