RICHARD WELLS
1929-2003
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 12 noon at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home for Richard Wells, 74, who passed away Monday,
October 27 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Wells was born April 27, 1929 in Floyd County, Ky., son of the
late Bill and Ada Moore Wells.
He was a retired coal miner and had served with the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Jo Collins Wells.
Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Jo Wells Castle of Van Lear, Ky.;
one brother, Kenneth Paul Wells of Van Lear, Ky.; one granddaughter,
Katie Jo Castle of Van Lear, Ky.
The service will be officiated by Paul Wayne Browning, with burial
following in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
