Ronald Coleman Wells, 85, of Curran, Mich., died Thursday, March 22, in
Barton City, Mich.
Born June 17, 1926, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Delmar
Preston and Fannie Ratliff Wells. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired
from United Airlines.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack David Wells; and a sister,
Elwanda Butcher.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Stapleton Wells; a son, Scott Coleman
Wells of Grayling, Mich.; a daughter, Karen Jordan of Barton City; three
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 25, at Highland Memorial Chapel, with
Paul David Coleman and Chad Blair officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
