SARAH WELLS
1919-1999
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 25, for Sarah Reed Bolden
Wells, 79, who died March 22 1999 at Highlands Regional Medical
Center.
Mrs. Wells was born September 9, 1919, in Johnson County, to the late
Jim and Belle Reed.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ottis Wells.
Surviving are five sons, Danny Wells and Clinton Bolden, both of
Paintsville, Millard Bowling of West Van Lear, Donald Bolden of Boons
Camp and Arnold Bolden Jr. of Wabash, Indiana; four daughters, Nellie
Bolden of Paintsville and Lesta McMillen, Elsie Faye McCoy and Thelma
Dewey, all of Wabash; one sister, Annie Powers of Van Lear; and 22
grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren.
Officiating at services at Jones Preston Funeral Home Chapel was
Manford Fannin.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
