THELMA WELLS
1918-1985
Retired beautician, Thelma Wells, 66, died January 24 in Veteran's Hospital
in Lexington. Mrs. Wells was born December 28, 1918 in Johnson County, the
daughter of Walter and Lucy Hatcher Setser.
She was a resident of West Van Lear and a member of the Philadelphia Church
of Christ.
Her husband, George Wells, preceded her in death in 1979.
Surviving are a son, Keith Wells of Sitka, three daughters, Sharon Zapetski
of Somerset, NJ, Kay Hornback of Winchester and Pam McKinley of Lexington;
three brothers, Marvin and Frank Setser of Van Lear, and Bob Setser of
Louisa; three sisters, Bertie Music of Hager Hill, Mabel Spears of Van Lear,
and Pearl Beardsley of Dallas, TX; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 27 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Denny Akers officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
