Funeral services were held Monday, September 2, for Lorna
Wheatley, 92.
Mrs. Wheatley died Friday, August 30, 1985 in Waukegan,
IL .
She was born December 5, 1892, in Martin County, the
daughter of Dr. John R. and Susan Allen Fairchilds.
She was retired merchant and member of the Methodist
Church.
Her husband, Grant Wheatley, preceded her in death in
1964.
Surviving are a daughter, MAry Elizabeth Frank of
Gurness, IL.
Rev. James Powell officiated at services with burial in
Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
