GLEN WHEELER
1901-1999
Funeral services will be held today, Friday, April 9, for Glen
Wheeler, 97, who died Tuesday, April 6, 1999 at Paul B. Hall Regional
Medical Center.
Mr. Wheeler was born October 3, 1901, in Magoffin County, to the late
Daniel M. and Sally Crace Wheeler.
She was retired from Columbia Gas Company.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Frona Wheeler, on December
27, 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Douglas of Salyersville and Bobby of
Leesburg, Virginia; two daughters, Leatrice Joy Brincefield of
Clarksville, Maryland, and Ruth Blanton of Salyersville, Mima Isaac
of Lakeland, Florida, and Fannie Meade of Louisville; and seven
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Officiating at 11 a.m. services at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel
will be Edd (Buster) Blanton and Edgar Blanton.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
