KAREN WHITAKER

Former Johnson County resident Karen Jean Whitaker, 41, died
Saturday, August 1, 1998 in Madison, Tennessee.
Whitaker was born September 10, 1956, in Johnson County, to Aralie
Spradlin Whitaker and the date Vernon Whitaker.
She was a nurses aide.
Survivng are one son, Jason Eric Whitaker, of Clovis Air Force Base,
New Mexico; two brothers, Richard Whitaker of South Charleston, Ohio,
and Kenneth Whitaker of Nashville, Tennessee; six sisters, Anita
Spears and Donna Whitaker, both of West Van Lear, Patsy Williams of
Amboy, Indiana, Arlene Votra of Nashville, and Vickie Shell, and
Bonnita Malottm both of Peru, Indiana; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, August 5, at 1 .m. at
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Lowell Webb and Dick VanHoose
officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
