Donald Wilcox, 85, of East Point, died Sunday, Dec. 18, at Highlands
Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 28, 1925, in Floyd County, he was the son of the late Lewis and
Lillian Langley Wilcox. He was a electrician, a U.S. Navy veteran and a
member of the East Point Church of Christ.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Cook; and a grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie Wilcox; three sons, Randy Wilcox of
Carlisle, Todd Wilcox and Donnie Wilcox Jr., both of East Point; three
daughters, Stephanie Hill of Staffordsville, Debbie LeMaster and Pam Nelson,
both of East Point; a brother, Robert Wilcox of Lansing, Mich.; eight
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
with Josh Akers officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones- Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
