CARMA WILEY

Carma Wiley, 92, died Friday, January 7,2000 at Riverview Health Care
Center, Prestonsburg.
Mrs. Wiley was born May 25, 1907, in Johnson County, to the late
Bethley and Katherine Kitchen Murray.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was also
preceded in death by her husband, Morton Wiley Sr., on October 1,
1961; two sons, Joe E. and Morton Wiley Jr.; one step-son, Melvin
Wiley; five brothers; and five sisters.
Surviving are one son, John B. Wiley of Houston, Texas; two
daughters, Anne Martin of Lexington and Eleanor Salyer of Rising Sun,
Indiana; one sister, Sophia George of Louisa; and 14 grandchildren
and 19 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 10, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Samuel Murray officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
