ROBERT M. WILHITE
1928-1994
Doctor Robert M. Wilhite, 65, died Sunday, January 30, at Central Baptist
Hospital, Lexington.
Dr. Wilhite was born May 1, 1928 in Paintsville, the son of the late Robert
and Opal Wilhite. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and past master of
the Grand Lodge and had been bestowed the 33rd degree.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou Meade Wilhite; five sons, Robert, III, and
David both of Lexington, J. R. of Winchester, Claude of Louisville and
Michael of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter, Mary Cahal of Lexington, one
brother, James Wilhite of Lexington; two sisters Geane Wilhite of Bredard,
NC and Mary Wilson of Albany, GA, and three grandchildren. Funeral services
were held Tuesday, February 1 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with
Harold Dorsey officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville. Pallbearers were
members of the Paintsville Masonic Lodge 381 F & AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kentucky Masonic Home.
