DAVID POWELL WILLIAMS JR.

Former Johnson County resident David Powell Williams Jr., 73, died
Sunday, September 20, 1998 at his Cordova, Tennessee, residence.
Mr. Williams was born April 4, 1925, in Johnson County, to the late
David Powell and Malta Stambaugh Williams.
He was retired from Wolverine Worldwide and a army veteran of World
War II.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret J. Williams; one son, David Powell
Williams III of Austin, Texas; one daughter, Sandra Brody of
Germantown, Tennessee; two sisters, Nina Williams of West Van Lear
and Anna Louise Sherman of Orlando, Florida; and four grandchildren
and seven great- grand-children.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 24, at First Christian
Church of Paintsville, with Bill Underwood officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
