Everett Williams, 75, of Van Lear, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, at Veterans
Administration Medical Center, Huntington, W. Va.

Born Dec. 5, 1928, in Win, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Alice
Lemasters Williams. He was a retired business owner of the B&W TV and
Appliance Store, Staffordsville, a member of Sitka Freewill Baptist
Church and a U. S. Army WW II veteran.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Williams of Van Lear; two sons, Mike
Williams of Wittensville, and Corey Williams of Van Lear; three stepsons,
Greg Burchett of Staffordsville, Stanely Burchett of Stambaugh, and Randy
Burchett of Huntington; two stepdaughters, Trudy Turner of Paintsville,
and Robin Phinney of Erlanger; three brothers, Tommy Williams of
Staffordsville, Arnold Williams of Winchester, and Larry Williams of
Summersville S.C.; four sisters, Georgean Brown, Carol Fairchild, and
Sally Davis, all of Winchester, and Geraldine Davis of Stambaugh; and
five grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 28, at Sitka Freewill Baptist Church
with Revs. Jim McKenzie and Bob Lyons officiating.

Burial was in Williams Cemetery, Oil Springs, under direction of
Paintsville Funeral Home.
