LOY WILLIAMS
1903-2000
Staffordsville resident Loy Williams, 96, died Thursday, December 21,
2000 at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Williams was born December 22, 1903, in Johnson County, to the
late Luke P. and Dora Wheeler Williams.
He was retired from C & O Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie McKenzie Williams; two
daughters, Mellana Sharyl Cantrell of Staffordsville and Janis
Blanton of Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Dixie Fyffe of Springfield,
Ohio; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 24, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Carlos Preston, Kenneth Trimble and Willard
Castle officiating.
Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
