JAMES RUDOLPH WILLIAMSON
1925-1992
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for James Rudolph
Williamson, 86, who died Saturday, April 4 in Christ Hospital, Cincinnati,
OH.
Mr. Williamson, of California, Kentucky, and a former resident of Floyd
County, was a retired lineman from Owen Electrical Company and a Navy
veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Crider Williamson; two sons, Samuel
Williamson of Milwaukee, WS and Darren Williamson of Cincinnati, one
daughter, Jamie Raether of Wilder; two brothers, Roger D. Williamson of
Paris and Wallace G. Williamson of Williamsport; three sisters, Ruby Meadows
of Wittensville, Elizabeth Scarberry of Creston, OH and Kay Rucker of New
Lebanon, OH and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 7 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
chapel with James Kelly Caudill and Dick VanHoose officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
