JULIA WILLIAMSON
1906-1994
Julia Williamson, 87, died Tuesday, March 15 at Highlands Regional Medical
Center.
Mrs. Williamson was born March 25, 1906, in Johnson County, the daughter of
the late Arch and Della Preston Music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aud Williamson, on December 21,
1988; and two sons, Freelin and Aulden Williamson.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald Williamson of Paintsville and Woodridge
Williamson of Cincinnati, OH; three daughters, Betty Webb of Paintsville,
Reatha Lou Blackburn of Van Lear and Gwendolyn Ward of Cuyahoga, OH; two
sisters, Evely Pauley of Clothier, WV and Elsie Ward of Boons Camp; and 13
grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 18 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Harry Frisby and David Blackburn officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial park at Staffordsville.
