MERINDA WILLIAMSON
1902-1989
Merinda Williamson, 86, died Friday, February 10 in Paul B. Hall Regional
Medical Center.
Mrs. Williamson was born September 12, 1902 in Lawrence County, the daughter
of Jim P. and Sarah F. Daniels Walters. She was a member of the River United
Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Williamson, in August
1981.
Surviving are 3 sons, Rudolph of Alexandria, Roger of Paris and Wallace of
Williamsport; 3 daughters, Ruby Meadows of Wittensville, Elizabeth Scarberry
of Creston, OH and Kay Rucker of New Lebanon, OH; one brother, Jess Walters
of Ashland; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 13, in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Charles Price and J. T. Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park.
