Funeral services were held Sunday, July 20, 2:30 p.m. at Preston
Funeral Chapel for Silas Dean Wolfe, Jr., 78, who passed away
Thursday, July 3 at the V. A. Facility at Hazard, Ky.
Mr. Wolfe was born October 24, 1924 in Pike County, Ky., son of the
late Silas Dean, Sr. and Crace Williams Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Dills Wolfe.
Surviving are one son, Roderick Wolfe of Clarksville, Tenn.; one
daughter, Patricia Colvin; one brother, Lawrence Wolfe of Ironton,
Ohio; one sister, Della Irvin of Wittensville, Ky.; 4 grandchildren
and 2 great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by W. J. Womack, with burial following in
the Highland Memorial Part at Staffordsville, Ky.

Paintsville, Ky.
