CHARLEY CHANDLER
1877-1953

Charley Chandler, 75, formerly of Chandlerville, died at his home at
Raceland, KY., Sunday, following an illness of two years.

The son of the late Isaac and Lucinda Wheeler Chandler, he was born
December 28, 1877, at Chandlerville.

He was a farmer by occupation.

Surviving are four son, Lacy Chandler, Decatur, Ill., Virgil Chandler,
Portsmouth, Ohio, Arville Chandler, Paducha, KY., and Rural Chandler,
Baltimore, MD.; three daughters, Violet Gillispie, city, Gladys Stone,
Greenup County, and Jewell Wheeler, Raceland, KY.

Other survivors include the following brothers and sisters, Alford
Chandler, Ashland, Jay Chandler, Minford, Ohio, Mary Wheeler, Morgan
County, Vina Burton, city, Cora Wheeler, Chandlerville, and Mima
Wheeler, Wilbur.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the
school house at Chandlereville with the Revs. Leonard Wallets, Foster
Rigsby and Cullie Sparks, officiating.

Interment was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Preston Funeral Home.
