LYDIA MARGARET GREEN
1878-1959

Mrs. Lydia Margaret Green 81, widow of Enoch Green of this county,
died Tuesday morning at the home of a daughter Mrs. John Gambill,
in Ashland.

Mrs. Green was born June 15, 1878, in Johnson County, the daughter
of the late Frank and Catherine Salyers. She had resided in
Ashland since last May.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1951.

Survivors include five other daughters, Mrs. Lewis Stambaugh of
Stambaugh; Mrs. W. E. Davis of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, Mrs. Frank
Branham of Sitkak, Mrs. J. H. Spencer of Louisville and Mrs. Bascom
Daniels of Louisa; Eight sons, Otto and Johnny Green of Stambaugh,
Jim Green of Sitka, Bill Green of Plain City, Ohio, Roman Green of
Racine, Wis., Elmer Green of Cardington, Ohio, Elvis Green of Port
Hurron, Mich., and Estell Green of Van Dyke, Mich., four half
sisters, Mrs. Martha Coldiron and Miss Ethel Salyers of Cincinnati,
Mrs. Esta Finnery of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Mary Bentley of
Catlettsburg; five half brothers, Chester and Santford Salyers of
Cincinnati, Ballard Salyers of Portsmouth and Clarence Salyers of
Newport News, Va., 45 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The body will be brought to the Mouth of Rush Church Thursday where
the funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Burial will be in the Family cemetery at Rock House, Chandlerville.
