DEATH CLAIMS HENRY PACK
WELL KNOWN CITIZEN DIED WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Henry J. Pack, age about 80 years, died at his home on lower Main
Street Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  He had been ill for several
weeks and his death was attributed to the infirmities incident to
advanced age.

Mr. Pack was well known in Johnson County where he has many relatives,
and in the Blaine section of Lawrence County where he was engaged in
business for a number of years.  He conducted a store at
Chandlerville, this county, going to Blaine, Ky., where he conducted
the Big Blaine Product Company.  He has resided in Paintsville for the
past few years.

He had no children.

He is survived by his widow and a large number of relatives.

Funeral services were held at the old Pack homestead at Chandlerville
Thursday afternoon. Burial in the family cemetery at Chandlerville.

Funeral arrangements were in charge of Guy W. Preston of Preston
Funeral Home.
