Paintsville Man Dies November 13

Funeral Rites Here for Fielden Stapleton

Fielden Stapleton, 62, died at his home on Mondy, November 13, at
11:15 a. m., after an illness of several months.

He was the son of Allen and Cynthia Caudill Stapleton, and was
born February 14, 1888 in Johnson County.

He had been a resident of Paintsville for 15 years. He was
married in 1919 to Molly Burton Stapleton, who survives him.

Also surviving are six daughters and four sons, Eulah Jeane, city,
Mrs. Neva Mae Ward, Williamsport, Ky., Mrs. Betty Joe Castle,
Nippa, Ky., Peggy, Eartine and Mary Lou, all of Paintsville,
Denver Stapleton, Ashland, Davis Stapleton, city, Don Stapleton,
Wittensville, and John Stapleton, city, and three brothers and one
sister, Linzle, Winifrred, Ky., Hayden, Cheasepeake, Ohio; Dock,
Chandlerville; and Mrs. Zona Caudle, West Jeffersonville, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted by Revs. O. I. Williams and Alfred
Chandler on Wednesday, November 15, at 10:00 a. m., in the United
Baptist Church, city.

Burial was in the Rockhouse family cemetery under the direction of
the Paintsville Funeral Home.
