 EDGAR WILSON BLAIR
1885-1963

Edgar Wilson Blair, 78, lumberman and farmer of Lowmansville, died at
his home at 1:35 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, after an illness of four
years.

The son of the late Joseph and Mary Montgomery Blair, he was born in
this county March 14, 1885. He was a member of the United Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sarah Blair, whom he married 1908;
three sons, Flemon Blair, Sandy Hook; Raleigh and Arlie Blair, both of
Louisville; six daughters, Mildred Moon, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Ada
Reed, Middeltown, Ohio; Glada Daniel, Elizabeth, Indiana; Mary
Elizabeth Daniel, New Albany, Indiana; Vertrice Branham, Middletown,
Ohio; Troyphena Brown, Elizabethtown, Indiana; two brothers, Dave
Blair, Hamilton, Ohio; Ben Frank Blair, Miamisburg, Ohio; two sisters,
Madge Gullett, Miamisburg, Ohio; Edna Rowland, Hamilton, Ohio. Also
surviving are twenty- three grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were con- ducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m., at the
Beechwall Church with Millard O'Brian and Prater Blair as officiating
ministers.

Burial was in the Sam Blair Cemetery at Jennies Creek.
