JAMES F. BLAIR, KNOWN AS "LITTLE FRANK" DIES FEB 27

James F. Blair, 78, better known as "Little Frank," died at 9:30
p.m. Saturday in a local hospital after a brief illness.

He was a resident of West Van Lear, where he had lived for many
years. He was born November 30, 1886 in Johnson County, a son of the
late Harrison and Gilly Ann Robinson Blair. He was a construction
worker by occupation.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha Rice Blair, at home, four sons,
Grady, James Farley, Edward Earl, and John Charles Blair, all of
Dayton, Ohio, and four daughters, Mrs. Mamie Johnson, of Dayton,
Ohio, Mrs. Mildred Pack and Mrs. Ann Knoop of Louisville, and Mrs,
Gladys Baker of Washington, D.C.

His is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mae McCloud of West Van Lear,
Mrs. Alta Smith, Flatwoods, and Mrs. Lurie Rice, Ashland.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Jones- Preston
Funeral Home by Rev. S. C. Honeycutt.

Burial was in the family cemetery at West Van Lear.
