Melly Ann BOWLBY was born in Warren County, N.J., June 8 1810. She was a faithful wife, an affectionate mother, an earnest devoted Christian. She moved to Ohio and was married to John L. BOWLBY about the Year 1836. There were born to them six children, three of whom with their father, live to mourn their loss. She joined the M.E.Church about 27 years ago, and has lived a faithful and earnest Christian life all these years magnifying the"Grace of God" and giving evidences in her work and conversation of the power of God in her soul. She passed into the Courts above, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1885, after a short illness, being 75 years, 6 months and 3 days old.
