Mary Gibbel
Mary L. GIBBEL, 82, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on the morning of October 24, 2007 at Rest Haven. She was born Jan. 6, 1925 in Potsdam, daughter of the late Arthur J. and Treva (Hoke) BRUMBAUGH. Mrs. GIBBEL was a homemaker and a mother. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda; and a brother, David BRUMBAUGH. She is survived by her husband, Jacob GIBBEL, whom she married March 29, 1945; daughter, Dixie HEISE and husband Duane of Pendleton, Ind.; son, Richard GIBBEL and wife Barbara of West Milton; 11 grandchildren; sister, Miriam BEERY and husband William of Wis.; and a brother, Paul BRUMBAUGH of Arcanum. Private family funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum, with Neil Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Unit at Rest Haven or the Palestine Old Brethren Church, 4375 Palestine-Hollansburg Road, New Madison, Ohio 45346.
