Located in Section 36 on the current land of Leroy Menke.
There is a long farmer's lane back to it that Mrs. Menke graciously
allowed me to take. All that is left of a possible 60 stones were two
stones. They were chalked and are shown below. A foot stone had disk
marks on it as did the smaller of the two stones. Since no one knows
for sure whom was buried there, I would presume this cemetery was
damaged many years ago. There is a list of possible burials in the
city library.
There is a farmer's lane all the way back, please ask
owner before going back.
There are four stones here. Two with no
writing.
Lenard F., son of A. J. and M. A. Cheney,
died
Daughter, Elsie Huxley, died, Mar. 18, 1859, Aged 7
days.
Neither of these two stones were on the possible
list.
Some Quaker names on the list were Frazier, Hiatt, Hicks,
Hourihan, Jones, Mills, Phelps who married a Jay, Votaw, Ketchem, and
many others.
