Bought 75 acres in Johnson County, Kentucky 1869 & sold half the mineral rights 1889. May be living 4 Oct 1906 when daughter Elizabeth married John Price.

Hamilton & Andrew went to Arkansas ca 1875 from Kentucky. They parted at Fayetteville, Andrew went to Pettigrew but no record found of Hamilton in Arkansas.

11yrs old on 1850 Census, wife of Dennis Stowers on the 1860 Tazewell Census. No record found in Tazewell in 1870. May have gone to Johnson County, Kentucky where John & Sally moved in late 1860s.

On 3 Jul 1857 when Mary Ann was 17, she first married Dennis STOWERS, M, son of Andrew STOWERS, M (abt 1807-) & Elizabeth ?, F (abt 1815-). Born on 4 Sep 1839 in Tazewell County, Virginia. Dennis died during the Civil War bef 1865.

On 16 Nov 1865 when Mary Ann was 25, she second married James S.S. PARKS, M, son of Sheldon PARKS, M & Susan ?, F. Born on 2 Mar 1844 in Wayne County, Virginia.

He grew cotton, tobacco, watermelons. He owned a river bottom farm. Lived in VA,Winslow Arkansas, Pettigrew Arkansas, Carterville, Missouri letter of Mar 18,1973 written by wife of Loyd Marrs (Marvie) from Cartersville, Missouri. Loyd is the 6th child of second family of Andrew.

Research: On census records of 1850 , 1860 for Tazewell, Virginia; and the 1870 Johnson County, Kentucky; and the 1900, 1910, 1920 Madison County, Arkansas Census. Marriage & death records, obituaries, personal visits to cemeteries.

On 17 Mar 1872 when Andrew Brewster (Andy) was 21, he first married Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) FRANKLIN, F, daughter of Benjamin F."Bird" FRANKLIN, M (15 Jun 1832-6 Feb 1914) & Susannah "Susan" STRONG, F (5 Jan 1838-1 Nov 1915), in Tazewell County, Virginia. Born on 29 Jul 1856 in Scott Co, VA. Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) died in Dutton, Madison County, Arkansas on 22 Mar 1888; she was 31. Only 28 yrs old. Buried in Cove Cemetery, Madison County, Arkansas on Highway 23. Religion: Methodist Episcopal Church.

A relative said she and three of her children died in Spanishflu epidemic. Cemetery information says she died in childbirthwith her 13th child who is buried with her.

On 24 Jun 1893 when Minnie Opoles was 15, she married Charles Canon HOOPER, M, in Madison Cnty, AR. Born on 1 Jan 1871 in Dutton, Madison Co, AR. Charles Canon died in Stilwell, Adair Cnty, OK on 6 Jan 1969; he was 98. Buried in Boston , Madison Co, AR.

Died from tuberculosis following epidemic of influenza, beingill for about one year. Also lived for short time in Quapaw,OK.

Had one daughter who died at 7 from dyptheria first marriage, nochildren second marriage. Nephew says she is buried in singleunmarked grave in Mt Hope Cem. Webb City, MO.
