A pioneer cemetery which means no burials in last fifty
years.
From Greenmound Church take Clayton Avenue south and
cross 170th street traveling to the site of the old
Eagle School Building. Below is a picture of the old
school as it looks today.
Take the mud farmer's lane and travel west and then
southwest across a meadow. It is steep, rocky and
rutted.
It is said there are 25 burials here but there are only
eight currently with markers standing.
First burial found was in 1850.
