BENJAMIN PERRY JEFFRES was born June 21, 1856 in Mercer County, Ohio [some records show last name as JEFFERS] and died at St. Joseph's hospital in Omaha on June 4, 1907. He was married on Oct. 23, 1882 in Omaha, Nebr., to HATTIE REED and died June 4, 1907 in Omaha.  HATTIE REED was born June 15, 1863 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of JACOB REED and ELIZABETH MORGAN; she died Nov. 26, 1913 in Greeley, Nebraska.

They had eight children, including two sets of twins:

ROYCE WILLIAM JEFFRES (a twin). Born Oct. 25, 1884, in Greeley Nebraska.  Died March 12, 1963, Bayard, Nebraska.  Married MARGARET EUGENIA MURPHY.

EARL JACOB JEFFRES (a twin). Born Oct. 24, 1884, in Greeley, Nebraska.  Married MARY
ALLEN.

MEDORA JEFFRES. Born Aug. 8, 1887, in Greeley, Nebraska.

FLOYD JEFFRES. Born Aug. 8, 1889, in Greeley, Nebr. Married MENA.

LEO SPENCER JEFFRES. Born Nov. 14, 1894, in Greeley, Nebraska.  Married MABEL.

Infant twins, a boy and a girl. Born Aug. 6, 1897, in Greeley, Nebraska.

EDGAR PERRY JEFFRES. Born Nov. 14, 1904, in Greeley, Nebraska. Married SYBIL. The Jeffres family bible reportedly was given to Edgar.
