JOHN McCRACKEN was born in Ireland. He married MARY A. McGUIRE. She was born in Ireland and died January 09, 1910 at the age of 76. Relatively little information is available about the most senior of the McCRACKENs.Although unconfirmed as of this writing, ROBERT JOHN McCRACKEN and daughter, Mabel, may be buried at Sterling, perhaps in St. Martin's Cemetery. ROBERT JOHN's parents may be buried there also. Sister KATE was supposed to have married a Donnigan (spelling uncertain) and another sister married a Callahan (perhaps named Mike). MARY A. McGUIRE McCRACKEN was supposed to have died at age 76 at the home of ROBERT JOHN and NETTIE McCRACKEN when they lived at Sterling (January 9, 1910).

ROBERT JOHN McCRACKEN was born Oct. 29, 1863, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, the son of JOHN McCRACKEN and MARY McGUIRE. He died April 10, 1916, in Sterling, Nebraska. He married BRIDGET ELLEN RODDEN, who died at a young age. They had five children: EDWARD McCRACKEN, ROBERT JOHN McCRACKEN, FRANK LAWRENCE McCRACKEN, WILLIAM LEO McCRACKEN and LEO McCRACKEN. He later married NETTIE BELLE AUSTIN, who died Sept. 12, 1970, in Bridgeport, Nebraska. They had five children: CHARLES DAVID McCRACKEN, JAMES DOUGLAS McCRACKEN, AGNES McCRACKEN, JOHN VIRGIL (PAT) McCRACKEN AND MABEL McCRACKEN. ROBERT JOHN McCRACKEN was a pioneer farmer in western Nebraska, filing on land just south of the little village of Bayard just as the community was getting its start.

Nebraska, daughter of HARRY SNYDER and MARY EDNA HIILLMAN. She was born December 14, 1897, in Oakwood, Oklahoma, and died December 06, 1973, in Bayard, Nebraska. She is buried in Bayard, Nebraska. They moved to the Bridgeport-Bayard area in the 1920s. For many years he bought and sold horses and cattle as well as farmed. ROBERT JOHN McCRACKEN is buried at Bayard, Nebraska. He died November 6, 1995, in Bridgeport, Nebraska. He married HENRIETTA WILHELMINA BUSING February 17, 1937 in Bayard, Nebraska. She was born May 7, 1915, in Leona, Kansas, the daughter of JOHANN BUSING and MARGARTHE JANSSEN. She died December 28, 1985, in Bridgeport, Nebraska. She died June 10, 1970. She married GERARD PERRY JEFFRES, son of ROYCE WILLIAM JEFFRES and MARGARET MURPHY JEFFRES, on November 7, 1937. He was born April 25, 1913, , son of ROYCE JEFFRES and EUGENIA MURPHY. He died November 8, 1984, in Bayard, Nebraska. Both are buried in Bayard, Nebraska. They had three children, including a son who died at birth: BARBARA JEFFRES, BONNIE JEFFRES, and ROBERT JEFFRES.

She was christened in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridgeport, Nebraska. She died March 7, 1998, in Caldwell, Idaho. She married LAWRENCE JOSEPH JEFFRES on Oct. 12, 1940, in Harrisburg, Nebraska. He was born Feb. 16, 1917, the son of ROYCE WILLIAM JEFFRES and MARGARET EUGENIA MURPHY. He died on June 8, 1987, in Nampa, Idaho and is buried at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, Idaho. According to word of mouth information, Dee Fowler was from Texas and resided in Rusk and Tyler, Texas at one time; it is believed that he's deceased. DONNA McCRACKEN and PETER CHRISTENSEN had one child: HENRY AUSTIN CHRISTENSEN, born May 25, 1978, in Wyoming. DONNA McCRACKEN and JAMES KAUFMAN had two children: LAURALEE KAUFMAN, born November 11, 1961; BEVERLY ANN KAUFMAN, born May 25, 1963, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.GAIL DEE McCRACKEN was born January 7, 1947, in Box Butte County Hospital, Alliance, Nebraska, the daughter of JOHN McCRACKEN and HENRIETTA BUSING McCRACKEN. She married (1) CLAYTON SHOEMAKER. She married (2) JOHN DAVIS on January 1, 1969, in Denver, Colorado. She married (3) ROD HOCOTT on June 25, 1978; he was born August 7, 1946. GAIL McCRACKEN and JOHN DAVIS had two children: JEFFERSON JACK DAVIS and JORDAN JAY DAVIS. JEFFERSON JACK DAVIS was born July 3, 1969, at Scottsb1uff, Nebraska. He married SUZETTE DIDIER in October, 1993; she was born June 24, 1968. JORDAN JAY DAVIS was born June 28, 1973.
