In 1993 Sue Kottwitz, your webmistress, visited Wiesenmuller.  Unless otherwise noted, these photos are from that pilgrimage.

In 1993 German families with the following surnames were reported to be living in Wiesenmuller.  It was said that almost all families were in the process of preparing to leave for Germany.    Kunkel, Grasmik, Prinz, Laub, Iskom, Helmut, Maul, Kunstman, Busch, Jakobi, Weber, Hermann, Sommer and Kolb.

  This is an old photograph of the church at Wiesenmuller.  It was one of a number that were a part of a packet distributed by the German museum in Saratov in 1993.

Photo 1 - New road being built connecting Wiesenmuller, Friedenberg, and Gnadenthau

Photo 2 - Site of the church at Wiesenmuller.  There is now a hospital clinic here behind the trees.
