Zack and Rebecca Warren

Zack and Rebecca are believed to have been born, met, and married in Franklin County, Tennessee. After marrying in about 1843, they moved to the adjacent county across the state line to Jackson County, Alabama. This is where most of their children were born. They lived most of the time in and around Stevenson, Alabama. In the autumn of 1880, they moved with their sons Abraham, Joseph, John and daughters Reece Ann and Nancy and their families to Carolan, a community outside of Booneville in Logan County, Arkansas.

Zack died about 1885 and Rebecca died about 1904. Paul Springer, a grandson of Joseph, was told by his mother Thelma Beatrice Warren Springer that Zack and Rebecca are buried in unmarked graves in Carolan Cemetery.
