Frederick Augusta and Mildred (Mitchell) Swartz Family

Frederick Augusta Swartz (25March1856-10July1931) married Mildred Mitchell (29Nov1858-16Apr1900). Both Fritz and Millie were from the same community of Middle Grove, Monroe, Missouri, or a few miles south. After they were married they lived and farmed on the land that Millie's father, John Mitchell, owned. This land became the Swartz farm and has stayed in the family up to the present (2002). Their three children, Grace, Ray and John "Fritz", were born in this farm house. Millie and their three year old son, Fritz, both died in that farmhouse. When their son, Ray, got married, Ray and his wife, Gertie, continued living in the farmhouse and farming the land.

Fredrick Swartz met and married Mildred Mitchell.  Being from the same community of Middle Grove or a few miles south.  They lived and farmed on land that her father owned.  This became the Swartz farm and has stayed in the family to date (2002).  Three children Grace, Ray and John (Fritz) were born in this farm house.  His wife and 3 year old son Fritz dying there.  When son Ray married, he and his wife [Gertie] continued living in the house and farming the land.

I just remembered aunt Grace Lepper's husbands name.  It was Roy Earl Lepper 1/2/1887--2/8/1920. Grace 1/25/1886--12/5/1981.

Grandpa's parents were Mildred Mitchell who died 4/16/1900 at age 41 years 4 months and 18 days and Fredrick Augusta Swartz born 3/25/1856-7/10/1931.

Mildred Mitchell Swartz's parents were Hannah L. Mitchell died Sept. 9, 1876, at age 51 years 5 months and 13 days and John Mitchell died Oct 9, 1871 at age 52 years, 9 months and 16 days
