Kenneth Elwood Swartz (29Dec1918-02Nov1984) married Martha Louisa Bates (29Dec1923-20Sep2007) on 31 August 1946 in Jefferson City, Cole, Missouri. Kenneth was an army veteran of World War II, a farmer in stock and agriculture and a truck driver for Land Construction of Moberly, Missouri. Martha was born at Primrose, Nebraska. They lived on a farm in the southwest part of Monroe County, Missouri, during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Kenneth and Martha had one daughter, Janice Fay Swartz, who was born on 15 July 1947.
