| Headquarters, 13th AAF,
Philippines--Second Lt. Donald L. Cotter, son of Ralph
Cotter, Broughton, and husband of Mrs. Virginia Cotter,
Eldorado, has been awarded with the Air Medal for
meritorious achievement during the 13th AAF combat
missions. Lt. Cotter is a co-pilot with the Bomber Barons, veteran "Jungle Air Force" B-24 Liberator group. He participated in attacks on airdromes and military installations which spearheaded Allied landing operations on Borneo, Mindanao, and Cebu. Overseas six months, he has completed more than 30 strtikes and holds the Asiatic-Pacific theater ribbon with three battle stars. Lt. Cotter was graduated from the Eldorado Township High School.
