Former Broughton M. D. Now a Captain

Dr. A. C. Tobey, former medical doctor of Broughton, has recently been promoted to Captain. He received a commission as a First Lieutenant and entered the Army November 1, 1942. From Camp Grant, Ill., where he received his basic training, he was sent to Camp Breckenridge, Ky.

Sometime in the early part of May, 1943, Capt. Tobey left for overseas duty spending approximately 6 months in North Africa and at present is serving his country somewhere in Italy.
