Joseph Easter was born June 17, 1792 in Randolph County /North Carolina, and died April 05, 1876 in
Carroll County Ark. in the War of 1812. He married (1) MARY SMITH November 25, 1817 in Danridge Jefferson
County Tennessee, daughter of JOHN SMITH and MARY PENN. She died in Roane County Tenn. He married
LUCRETIA Evans about 1842 in Carroll Co Ark.

        i.      MARY EASTER, m. WESLEY MIDDLETON, October 29, 1835, Tennessee.
        ii.     JAMES EASTER.
        iii.    ELIZABETH EASTER, b. August 11, 1824; d. December 14, 1871;
m. JOHN BOHANNON, May 05, 1842;
John Bohannon and Elizabeth brought their family to
Camden Co. Missouri during the early 1850's..
        iv.     MARTHA ELLEN EASTER, b. 1826, Roane County
Tennessee; d. Bet. 1860 - 1864, Arkansas.
        v.      JOHN ADAMS EASTER, b. August 01, 1824; in Roane
Co. Tennessee, died December 24, 1908 in Missouri.
He married (1) Sarah Jane Houston January 14, 1855.
She was born 1835. She was the daughter of Robert
Houston and Mary Jane Neely.

Tennessee; d. November 01, 1896, Laclede Missouri; m.

MARTHA ELLEN EASTER was born 1826 in Roane County Tennessee, and died Bet. 1860 - 1864
in Arkansas. She married ABRAM J. GALYAN April 11, 1848 in Roane CountyTennessee, son of JOHN GALYON. He
was born in Roane County Tennessee. Roane Co., TN. Marriage Records - Marriage Book "A"
4/11/1848 Galyon, Abraham J. m. Martha Ellen Easter.

Arkansas; d. 1906, Camden Co Missouri. Belle is buried
at Zion cemetery.

Elizabeth Galyon is the dau. of Martha Ellen Easter &
Abraham John Galyon she lived with her Uncle John
Adams Easter and married Simon Scott in Camden co.
Missouri 1880 at Passover.

The year before her marriage she lived with her sister
Nancy Belle Galyon who had married Simon's cousin,
James Scott.
