Miller Rellies Buried in Maple Hill Cemetery, Cadilllac, Michigan.

Rev. Charles Carroll Miller was one of two sons born to Captain Jeremiah G. Miller and his 2nd wife, Jane Warren Green, in Kennebunkport, Maine. Miriam Cross Dyer was a descendant of Col. Ralph Cross, who commanded a regimant at the Battle of Saratoga in the Revolutionary War, where British Army General John Burgoyne surrendered. Rev. Miller and his brother, Jere Judson Miller, were both Baptist ministers. His work took him to pastorates in Wisconson and Michigan, where he was instrumental in forming the Republican Party. They settled in Stanton, MI. After retiring from the ministry, he aand Miriam moved to Cadillac, MI, where their son, Dr. Carroll Evard Miller, lived.
