Mary Fenn's husband Samuel Doolittle was likely a grandson of Samuel Doolittle, born 06 July 1665, to Abraham Doolittle and Abigail Moss. This is probably the same family of Martha Doolittle, wife of Edward and Mary Thorpe Fenn's son Theophilus, given the fact that they all lived in the Wallingford, Connecticut, area. Also note the name of Thomas Doolittle, the husband of Hannah Fenn - again likely from the same family.
Thomas Fenn had 13 children by the two wives noted above. The authors state in the book that five of Thomas fenn's sons served in the Revolutionary War. They were: Thomas, b. 01 Dec. 1735; Samuel, b. 27 Dec. 1737; Isaac, b. 1749; Jason, b. 1751; and Jacob, b. 1755.
